Election 2020: I Want To Struggle Over THIS Decision

Before you read any further, I am not a Trump hater. I am also not a Trump lover. He is OUR president (whether you want to accept that or not), and there are some things I can say he has accomplished and I am grateful for including the economy, low unemployment and troop pay increase just off the top of my head. There is plenty I disagree with.

What I want to look at is the fact that the divisions in our country are widening, and I don’t see Trump becoming a unifying figure anytime soon. He is who he is, that will not change. Our country needs to come together, not come farther apart. And it needs to happen soon. IMO

So with that in mind, I would love to struggle over “who to vote for” in 2020 with these two gentlemen. John Kasich and Cory Booker. On Monday they both appeared on The Daily Show and it was like a breath of fresh air, a glass of cold water on a hot day. It made we “want” for my country.
